What happened to...?
Over the years we have been able to accompany some students to the Abitur. Today they live and work all over the world - and two of them recount what they associate with their time at the Grammar school Stift Neuzelle.

Eric Altmann – On the way abroad
I started my career at the school in 2007 and completed a year abroad in the USA in the school year 2011/2012, which I carried out with the help of the organization YFU. After completing my Abitur in 2014 with the advanced courses in business, history and chemistry, I gained insight into the hotel industry while doing an internship in Aschau i. Chiemgau. In the end, however, I decided not to pursue this professional path and, after a search phase in Eisenhüttenstadt, decided to study economics, starting as an economics student at HTW Berlin in spring 2015. Since the end of 2015, I have also been working as a student at Egon Zehnder, Europe's leading personnel consultancy, and will do an internship abroad in 2017.

Vanessa Allgaier – „The best time of my life“
I graduated from grammar school Stift Neuzelle in 2015. There couldn't have been a better way for me than to get my Abitur at this school. I got to know a lot of great people, I learned a lot from teachers who I will remember for a lifetime, and I was able to get to know headmasters who made it clear to me that they always believe in their students and how important school is.
This is how I successfully completed my Abitur and proved to myself that success in life depends on one’s will and determination.
Afterwards I started an apprenticeship as retail sales specialist in Berlin – and professional life was a significant change. I will now begin an apprenticeship as administrative assistant in the city administration of Frankfurt (Oder). For me, school was the best time of my life, thanks to the great lessons, the great teachers and the moments that I was able to share with many great people.

We will keep you up to date and inform you regularly of the latest events, innovations in the education system and lots more.
