Studienkolleg of Rahn Education in Halle

  • Pre-course

    The Studienkolleg of Rahn Education begins with a pre-course to prepare foreign students for the German language examination for admission to university.

    The passing of this examination or the proof of already existing language skills at B2 level are the conditions for admission to the main course.

    The pre-course has a duration of 16 weeks and comprises 29 hours per week (German 24/Mathematics 5 hours per week) each with 45 minutes. The number of participants is limited to 25.

  • T-course

    The T-course is directed at students who wish to study mathematics, science or technology in Germany.

    The course has a duration of 2 semesters (32 weeks in total) and prepares for the assessment test of the main course T. The T-course includes 30 weekly lessons of 45 minutes each.

    The subjects in the T-course:

    German: 10 hours per week

    Mathematics: 8 hours per week

    Physics: 6 hours per week

    Chemistry: 4 hours per week

    English: 2 hours per week

    The choice of subjects is strictly based on the compulsory and examination subjects of the T-course. Participation in all classes is mandatory for students.

  • W-course

    The W-course is directed at students who wish to study economics or social sciences in Germany.
    The course has a duration of 2 semesters (32 weeks in total) and prepares for the assessment test of the main course W. The W-course includes 30 weekly lessons of 45 minutes each.

    The subjects in the W-course:
    German: 10 hours per week

    Mathematics: 6 hours per week

    Economics (economics and business administration): 8 hours per week

    Information Technology: 2 hours per week

    English: 4 hours per week

    The choice of subjects is strictly based on the compulsory and examination subjects of the W-course. Participation in all classes is mandatory for students.

  • Admission to Universities

    After passing the assessment test, you can apply with the help of our staff for admission to a public or private German university.

    The application is generally possible at all universities, as the assessment test which our graduates take is recognized all over Germany.
