The urban dance studio in Leipzig
The Break Art Studios (or BASS) is the first dance academy in Leipzig to specialise in urban dance styles. The renowned dancers can draw on years of experience in dancing, teaching and project work. They enjoy passing on their knowledge and skills to their students.

Learn urban dance styles at the Break Art Studios
Dancing lessons and evening/weekend classes
For several years, students at the Freie Oberschule Lepzig have been learning urban dance styles in the context of their mandatory dance lessons and have been able to further improve these skills through additional voluntary courses and projects. Dance lessons are based on specially developed curricula and syllabuses.
With the establishment of the Break Art Studios, this concept, which is unique in Germany, was successfully expanded and made available to everyone in Leipzig. Children, young people and adults who like dancing have access to a broad range of courses and can benefit from the well-structured curricula at the dance academy.

Lets dance!
Have you heard of the dance styles B-boying, locking, popping, house dance, vogueing, waacking or dancehall? If so, you know how much fun you can have. If not, its high time you discovered them. So drop in to the Break Art Studios. In addition to regular courses for all ages, we also offer compact workshops as taster sessions or more in-depth training. We also regularly invite internationally renowned dancers to join us.
As of September, we will also be offering a trainer qualification for breakin.
